Zillow Group is a mission-driven company working to improve people’s lives through the places and neighborhoods they call home.
In keeping with our company’s purpose, we support and encourage employees’ efforts to give back in the communities where we live and work. Our employees frequently ask for direction in identifying and connecting with great local nonprofits with whom they can volunteer and use their skills to support.
That’s why we created Propel.
Propel is our annual volunteer fair with space for 20 nonprofits. Participating nonprofits will have an eight-foot table at the fair where Zillow Group employees can interact with your representatives to learn more, and sign-up on-the-spot to volunteer and get involved.
We hope to include a variety of organizations serving different populations and addressing social issues including but not limited to: youth, homelessness and housing affordability, domestic violence, immigrants, refugees, marginalized communities, environmental sustainability, and animal welfare.
We ask that nonprofits come prepared with:
- Collateral materials describing your organization (banners, pamphlets, videos, etc.)
- Specific labor-based (non-skilled) volunteer opportunities for which employees can sign up and engage.
Skilled Projects: Zillow Group will pre-select up to eight (8) well-defined skill-based volunteer projects that leverage our employees’ talent and skill sets such as design, analytics, marketing, web development, and more. If your organization has needs that our skills can support or address, please include a detailed description in your application!
To be considered, please fill out the online proposal form below. Proposals are due June 5. We will notify everyone about whether they are selected by June 12.
